I already scan my PC but the flag doesnt disappear and it says Threats have been detected?

Last week I accidentally downloaded a linked file that turned out to be a virus. As usual trusted Kaspersky detected n flagged it. And as usual I clicked on the "Fix this" button. But sadly it did not do anything to remove. I tried a billion times to neutralize it but Kaspersky wouldn't do anything. Then I found the file source n deleted it. But the "threats have been detected" flag just doesn't go away!! It's been a week n it's still there.
