My Eye is SWOLLEN!!! HELP!!?

Hi, I am 13 years old and today is Saturday... My eye is swollen and whenever I blink it hurts like there is a bruise... My eyes wasn't hurting at all on Thursday afternoon but right after I ate dinner, it started to hurt. Then on Friday morning, it was swollen. I went to the doctor, and he said it might be allergies or an infection... And he gave me a prescription for an eye dropper... I personally don't think it is allergies because I ate Benadryl and if it is allergies, my eye would have been much better now.... The eye dropper that the doctor prescribed me isn't helping AT ALL!! My eye is a little bit more swollen and it hurts whenever I blink.... I'm just keeping ice on it for when it starts to feel bruised again. I don't want to continue using the eye drop because it is not helping and the doctor said just incase it was an infection, which means it may not be an infection and the eye dropper may be bad for my eyes... Does anyone have advice to give me??? How do I cure this??? Thank you!!!
