AVG 2011 Resident Shield detection?
Hey, I have AVG 2011 Free Edition. I checked my Resident Shield detection recently and it says that I have an infection called Trojan Horse Dropper.Generic2.JDA and that it's located on a program on my desktop. It also says that the object type is a file and that the process is C:\Windows\explorer.exe , furthermore AVG says the object is inaccessible which is why it wasn't removed in the first place, most likely. What I'd like to know is this, is it safe to just delete the associated program, and is the Resident Shield actually blocking the trojan from working? Suggestions for what I should do?
