I've been told I'm intimidating which could be why I don't get dates any suggestions please?

My girlfriends are all in relationships like serious ones so I never really meet they're bfs friends, I also don't go out too much only to do errands and yah, it just doesn't happen. I am in college, working, i love to stay in shape, but guys just wanna talk on facebook or if they have a gf for some reason. Why?
