How to neutralize hair after using a relaxer without neutralizing shampoo?

My mom just bought a no base hair relaxer but she forgot a neutralizing shampoo. She will still use it. Is there any other way to get rid of the relaxer besides that shampoo ? can i use any other shampoo and conditioner? What can u recommend ?
